New is the New Old

Feel it? Can you feel that? thats temperatures outside above the freezing level. Words cannot describe how psyched I am for this. I know it's London and that means it will probably be -25 and apocalyptic next week, but for now, the spring jacket is out and music just sounds better. As I put in a grueling 2.5 hours of studying last night, I happened upon some unreal music that I shall share with you. right after a fresh Gu-ism

*Enter No Frills*

GnarKill - "So we just gonna do a lap, figure out what we need?"

FutureProof - "yeah man, probs a good call"

Gu - "Do what you want, I'll be in the Ice Cream"

First, a band who I know little about, but are seemingly set to blow up on the blogs, and possibly be the standout indie band of the summer. A ridiculously emo name, but a great sound, they are The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Come Saturday
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Orchard of My Eye
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Everything With You

In other major news, I got Pandora working again on my computer. For those of you who don't know what Pandora is, its basically the most amazing online application ever. Go to www.pandora.com. Type in any band or song that you like, and based on that, it will play music that you will like. And it works. This was the shit in highschool, until Pandora got all BS and went US only, no love for the north. Until HotSpot Shield. Google it, download it, and Pandora will now work. It can make browsing a little slow, but so far it has worked legit for me. It also makes HULU videos work, and anything else on the internet that you have to be in the US to enjoy. This being said, I was just Pandora-ing and came across this little ditty

Coeur De Pirate - Comme Des Enfants (Les Matos Andy Carmichael Remix)

and finally, I can't find a link, but download it cause its sick
The Flaming Lips - The WAND
