Regret watching

Jedi mind trick at 31 30 of He's Just Not That Into You, bullshit, if that's what girls honestly think then you are dumb. People have intuitions, people have honest thoughts on who they like and they feel likes them, but if you are listening to oprah shit and thinking that this guy is different than anyone you have read/seen/felt, then I'm sorry, you probably will be wrong 95% of the time. Guys worry about similar things, you worry double because of what your friends tell you, and half of the time your friends haven't even gone through the shit you're going through. Why not be real, feel something real and act real. Say what you mean, don't fuck around, it complicates things. A guy will love you for how you are, you will do the same. He will make you mad but you will do the same. The fact is you're going to be with that person for the good things and that's what'll matter.   man emotions bug me.

The Crystal Palace

Andrew: Grimba, who you texting?

Andrew: Why is your phone so fucked?

Grimba: Oh man, lots of shit

Andrew: Like what?

Grimba: Well......... I took it swimming

Beat On, Beat Off

I'm thinking the percentage of posts I've made hungover in bed is sitting at about 80%. So many games of a drinking nature. Hope errones having a good reading week, home hasn't been bad at all. Rad actually. This doesn't mean I'm not jealous of the lucky ones out frolicking in the sun or shredding gnar out west. Speaking of which, Mr. Ryan Bergmann has been out west all year and has what looks to be an unreal cinematic adventure in the works. I'm not sure the link works for everyone, if not I'll figure something out.

Mountain Life

So since I cannot think of any grand things to write about in my comatose state, I'm just gonna share what I've been listening to this week.

First up are The Presets. They're from Australia and seem to be pretty established. Their video for my favourite song by them "If I Know You" was posted on HRO the other day, and can be seen on their myspace. I think it's pretty damn cool. It has that sick Miami Vice sound that I've been really into and am thinking could be big in the summer. Rest of their stuff is a little different, but still moss.

New is the New Old

Feel it? Can you feel that? thats temperatures outside above the freezing level. Words cannot describe how psyched I am for this. I know it's London and that means it will probably be -25 and apocalyptic next week, but for now, the spring jacket is out and music just sounds better. As I put in a grueling 2.5 hours of studying last night, I happened upon some unreal music that I shall share with you. right after a fresh Gu-ism

*Enter No Frills*

GnarKill - "So we just gonna do a lap, figure out what we need?"

FutureProof - "yeah man, probs a good call"

Gu - "Do what you want, I'll be in the Ice Cream"

First, a band who I know little about, but are seemingly set to blow up on the blogs, and possibly be the standout indie band of the summer. A ridiculously emo name, but a great sound, they are The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Come Saturday
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Orchard of My Eye
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Everything With You

In other major news, I got Pandora working again on my computer. For those of you who don't know what Pandora is, its basically the most amazing online application ever. Go to www.pandora.com. Type in any band or song that you like, and based on that, it will play music that you will like. And it works. This was the shit in highschool, until Pandora got all BS and went US only, no love for the north. Until HotSpot Shield. Google it, download it, and Pandora will now work. It can make browsing a little slow, but so far it has worked legit for me. It also makes HULU videos work, and anything else on the internet that you have to be in the US to enjoy. This being said, I was just Pandora-ing and came across this little ditty

Coeur De Pirate - Comme Des Enfants (Les Matos Andy Carmichael Remix)

and finally, I can't find a link, but download it cause its sick
The Flaming Lips - The WAND
